CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY. | Inspired by words of motivation from the heads, 36 appointed employees of the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD), took their oath of office and oath in support of moral governance on December 4, 2020.

The ceremony was held at the New Dawn Hotel Plus, Cagayan de Oro City and it was followed by the ministry’s Internal Planning and Orientation Program the next day.

“We have our family to support, we have our relatives to help, but we will be working for the Bangsamoro, seeking the pleasure of Allah (S.W.T.)”, Minister Hamid Aminoddin D. Barra said during his welcome address.

The MHSD Head encouraged the workforces to always work with righteousness, excellence and perfection. “You have to work with honesty, integrity, love, and fear of Allah”, he further advised.

The ceremony and program included presentations and messages on what the newly hired employees are expected to face and deliver upon assumption to duty, in accomplishment of the ministry’s current and future projects.

The status of pending projects as well as the staffing pattern were also presented to the new employees for their initial awareness.

Chairman of the Recruitment Selection and Promotion Board (RSPB) Dr. Minalang Barapantao stated that all job positions posted at the job portal have been successfully filled up of qualified individuals.

Dr Minalang said the next postings may be published by 2021 as the ministry needs more employees to completely carry out its mandates effectively and efficiently.

The officials and employees reconvened on December 5, 2020 for the presentation of the specific mandates, organizational structure and functions of the ministry including its budget expenditure and special programs.
