The Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) was commended by the Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management (MFBM), during the Directives, Accomplishments, and Performance Assessment Tracking (DAPAT) Meeting last July 9, 2021, at the Bajau Hall, Office of the Chief Minister, Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City.

The DAPAT Meeting was created to conduct thorough assessment on the accomplishments, financial and physical performances of the BARMM ministries and offices. It replaced the previous Bangsamoro Assessment on Government Operations through OCM Memorandum Order No. 045, Series of 2019.

The MHSD team was led by Director General (DG) Esmael W. Ebrahim, and composed of Administrative and Finance Division Chief Nomaire M. Madid, Planning Officer Zainodin A. Buisan, Accountant III Jasmin M. Macarimbang, Budget Officer III Sharabai B. Hasim, and Cahier III Nasibah S. Pangca.

The meeting began with an introduction between MHSD and the panelists, shortly followed by the MHSD’s presentations, which consisted of Financial Performance, Assessment of Disbursement, Collection Report, Physical Performance, and the Comparative Assessment of Financial and Physical Performances as of December 31, 2020.

A question-and-answer segment followed the presentations, during which discrepancies were addressed to be fixed, and performances were praised. Notably, the finance team was commended, especially Acct. III Macarimbang, for her timely submissions.

Panelists present for the meeting were MFBM Deputy Minister (DM) Atty. Ubaida C. Pacasem, representative on behalf of Senior Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua, and Bangsamoro Deputy DG Engr. Amil Abubakar, who represented DG Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali of the BPDA. The meeting ended with the panelists thanking the MHSD team for their cooperation while DG Ebrahim thanked the panel on behalf of Minister Hamid Aminoddin D. Barra.
