The Ministry of Human Settlements and Development actively participates in the Training-Workshop on Citizen’s Charter Formulation/Enhancement hosted by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) Center for Governance (CFG) via Zoom Meet that started on May 16, 2022.

In the opening ceremony on May 13, 2022, the participants were introduced to the five-day course, shared by Vice President Imelda C. Caluen, Managing Director, DAP Center for Governance Technical Supervisor, followed by the orientation on R.A. 11032 by Grace L. Fernandez, Director, Compliance Monitoring and Evaluation Office, and a pre-recorded rundown on the Citizen’s Charter.

The activity is in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – Project Management Office (BARMM-PMO). The participants were divided into three batches who will undergo training-workshop scheduled throughout the remaining days of May and early June.

The MHSD was scheduled in the first batch of training on May 16-20, as represented by Majeed M. Moslem, Chief of Staff, Jehanna M. Abdulkarim, Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer III, Alyssa A. Onse, Development Management Officer I, Juwairiyah bint Emran M. Mohamad, Information Officer I and April Joyce S. Angas, Communications Assistant.

The opening program officially started with the opening remarks from Atty. Engelbert C. Caronan, Jr., MNSA President and CEO Development Academy of the Philippines, followed by messages from JICA Chief Advisor Mr. Hirofumi Hoshi Chief Advisor and BARMM Assistant Senior Minister Abdullah M. Cosain.
