The Ministry of Human Settlements and Development, the Housing Arm of the BARMM, welcomes home with open arms Minister Atty. Hamid Aminoddin D. Barra’s continuing leadership with excellence and perfection; with moral governance.

Enduring our heartfelt efforts to serve the Bangsamoro as the primary regional government entity responsible for the management of housing, human settlement and rural/urban development, Minister Barra returns reappointed as our beloved leader, to work as ‘ibādah, and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank BARMM Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim for this.

In every ongoing project the Ministry broke ground on, Minister Barra instills that the MHSD does not only commit to its services, but also delivers. MHSD Delivers; and ensuring the continuity of that delivery is Minister Barra’s reappointment after he took oath before Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim with the reappointed and newly appointed BARMM cabinet.

Minister Barra motivates us all to continue our services to the Bangsamoro not just to answer our mandates, but ultimately aimed at pleasing Allah, SWT, envisioning homes for the Bangsamoro, to build communities, to build the Ummah.

Now with the MHSD Provincial Offices taking root within the region, the MHSD aims to enhance service delivery at the provincial levels, specifically those on beneficiary profiling, monitoring and extension of technical assistance in the crafting and updating of Comprehensive Land Use Plans (CLUPs) and monitoring the ongoing construction of housing and training center projects across and outside the region.

As many times as it takes, the MHSD, with anticipation, pleasure, and gratitude, welcomes back and congratulates our Minister—an aleem, lawyer, and doctor of philosophy rolled into one.

“In shaa Allah, we will do the best we can with the MHSD,” Minister Barra emphasized.
