The Ministry of Human Settlements and Development, the Housing Arm of the BARMM, provided information on housing and land-related services, and regulatory services for real estate development and homeowners’ associations in the Bangsamoro at the mega tent fronting the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) inside the Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC) in Cotabato City during the Bangsamoro Foundation Week celebration on January 22-26, 2024.

The consultation activities were facilitated by the Housing and Human Settlements Division represented by Alyssa A. Onse, Development Management Officer, Normina S. Noor, Administrative Officer II, Rasmina E. Puti, Administrative Assistant VI, Al Majid D. Dama, Administrative Assistant V, and the Policy Development, Coordination and Regulation Division represented by Amera Aisah L. Macalangcom, Administrative Officer V, and the Environment, Land Use and Urban Development Division represented by Addan B. Abdullah, Information technology Staff and Leamir M. Sakal, Administrative Assistant I.

The services included the process and requirements for the issuance of Preliminary Subdivision Development Permit (PSDP), Development Permit (DP), Certification of Registration/License to Sell (CR/LS), and Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Dealers.

The Ministry also provided free consultancy services on housing-related concerns with the Pag-IBIG Fund and Registry of Deeds, regulatory services for real estate and homeowners’ association, and on MHSD infrastructure projects.

Assisting the MHSD in the booth for these services were Rhonajane U. Marohomsalic, Administrative Officer I from the Land Registration Authority of the Registry of Deeds-Maguindanao, and a team from Pag-IBIG Fund Cotabato membered by Ronald G. Lee, Mortgage Loans Examiner II, Julieta A. Baligo, Accounts Specialist, Hadji Mahmoud C. Ali Jr., Customer Support Assistant, Jessie D. Escape, Data Service Assistant and Mariane A. Mangacoy, Data Service Assistant, and Jomar K. Tugado, Driver.

Particular housing-related services include Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Application and Release, Housing Loan and Membership Inquiry, Receiving of MPL Applications, and other inquiries on the Fund’s Programs and Benefits for its members.

On the other hand, land-related concerns such as Land Title Registration, Transfer of Land Title, Land Title Verification, Real Estate Mortgage Registration and Cancellation, and Chattel Mortgage Registration and Cancellation shall be handled in partnership with the Land Registration Authority-Registry of Deeds.

The MHSD continues the consultancy services after the celebrations at the MHSD Regional Office, Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City, and accepts and responds to queries and concerns via email through its official addresses.
