As the Bangsamoro started celebrating its second founding anniversary this year, the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) began offering services that highlight the ‘How-Tos’ in availing housing units in the region.

Steps, official requirements, and available housing units are explicitly explained to visiting clients and interested individuals by the representatives of the ministry.

Application forms are also available for distribution at the MHSD spot inside the OCM tent located at the front of the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex (SKCC) of the Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC).

Significant and beneficial services and programs of the different ministries of the BARMM are also offered at their respective booths inside the BGC from agrifishery inputs and services, education and business, up to medical services.

The celebration of the Bangsamoro Foundation Anniversary on January 21 was launched yesterday led by Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, Al-Hadj and was attended by the representatives from all the ministries and agencies of the BARMM, partner development agencies and other stakeholders.

Chief Minister Balawag said the commemoration is to showcase that the Bangsamoro people need more and should no longer be subjected to any form of injustice.

“Moral governance should be a practice and not just a tagline”, emphasized the BARMM Chief.

Highlights of the program included the first ever raising of the Bangsamoro flag as the singing of the BARMM hymn happened and the messages of support and motivation from the highest officials of the regional government.

Ceremonial turnover of major programs, services, and interventions were also carried out by some of the ministries so with the turnover of some of the Region 12 offices like that of DOH to the BARMM.

The services offered inside the BGC will be up until the culmination program of the BARMM founding day celebration on January 21, 2021.

The theme of this year’s week-long celebration that is also cascaded in the provincial offices and LGUs is ‘Moral Governance: Building Strong Foundations for a Better Bangsamoro’.
