The Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) of the BARMM hosted the Exit Conference with the Commission on Audit (CoA) held today (March 24, 2021), at the MHSD Office, Dilangalen Building, Cotabato City.

An exit conference is the meeting at the end of an audit engagement where the auditors and client meet to discuss the findings of the audit and the rightful recommendations based on the official report.

Regional Director Bato S. Ali, Jr., Supervising Auditor Amanodin L. Said, and Audit Team Leader Almansor A. Pendatun, of the CoA-BARMM, delivered respective presentations and messages discussing the reports that were already submitted and the reports to be passed by the ministry.

Minister Hamid Aminoddin D. Barra highlighted the importance of spending money the right way, likening the exit conference with a Qur’anic verse that asks for everyone’s entrance and exit to be through the gate of righteousness and for the Almighty to grant sustenance to everyone.

Throughout the conference, the ministry’s Administrative and Finance Division, led by Chief Administrative Officer Nomaire M. Madid, responded to the CoA’s audit observations from January 1 to December 21, 2020.
