A few weeks after the ceremonious turnover with Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development, the Housing Arm of the BARMM, in partnership with the BARMM-Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi) and the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) delivered and distributed 1,733 shelter toolkits to the rightful beneficiaries through the Local Government Units (LGUs) of municipalities afflicted by Typhoon Paeng.

The kits contained essential tools needed for basic repairs and construction works, enabling families to rebuild and repair their homes without the need to spend for labor. The LGU of Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte (MDN) was the latest delivery point as of February 28, 2024, receiving a total of 18 toolkits.
