The Ministry of Human Settlements and Development, represented by Atty. Nasihah Mamarungcas, RSW, has participated in the Statistical Sector Writeshop on the Formulation of BARMM Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP) for 2021 to 2023, held at the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA-BARMM) Conference Room, Jupiter Street, Cotabato City.

For the formulation of the RSDP 2021-2023, mechanics of the workshop were presented by Statistical Specialist II Sittie Asmalia D. Cornell, where the permanent or alternate representatives, the Technical Working Group (TWG), from the attending ministries and agencies would then participate in a writeshop where they will be tasked to present their respective current and future projects.

“Data empowers us to formulate good decisions, policies, projects and programs and that is why data collection should not be taken for granted”, Atty. Mamarungcas said.

The series of meetings began its focus on the social sector on February 16, the economic sector on February 17, and the multi-domain sector on February 18.

The TWG has been given until February 22, this year, to email their outputs.
